Four Rusty Hardin & Associates Attorneys Named to Lawdragon’s List of Top Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers

Rusty Hardin & Associates partners Rusty Hardin, Daniel Dutko, Ryan Higgins, and Joe Roden have been selected to Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers listing for 2024.

Lawdragon describes this year’s honorees as the lawyers seeking justice for anyone who has suffered the worst of what life can deliver, “righting the universe each in his or her own way.”

“I am happy to be honored by Lawdragon alongside Daniel, Ryan, and Joe,” said Mr. Hardin. “As a firm, our goal has always been to help our clients navigate some of the most difficult times in their lives. Their needs are first and foremost. To be recognized for that work is really something special.”

This is the most recent Lawdragon honor for Mr. Hardin. In 2023, he was inducted into the Lawdragon Leading Lawyers Hall of Fame, which recognizes lawyers who have “dedicated their careers to the legal profession, each in his or her own way, to find a way forward to a better future.” He has also been named to Lawdragon’s list of 500 Leading Litigators.

In November 2023, Mr. Hardin received the Paul Stallings Civility and Ethics Award from the Texas Chapters of the American Board of Trial Advocates (TEX-ABOTA) for exemplifying professionalism, civility, and the highest moral and ethical standards during his work as prosecuting attorney in the Texas Senate Impeachment Trial of Attorney General Ken Paxton.

Mr. Dutko, who is marking his third consecutive year on the 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers listing, is known for his practice in catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, class action, and other complex litigation. Earlier this year, he was featured in the media nationwide as attorney for a Texas man suing Sunglass Hut and Macy’s alleging wrongful arrest prompted by faulty facial recognition technology.

Mr. Higgins focuses on matters involving complex commercial litigation, breach of contract, antitrust, theft of trade secrets, fraud, RICO, and civil theft. He has been named to other Lawdragon legal guides, including Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Litigators in America listing and its list of 500 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers. Mr. Higgins is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America and Texas Super Lawyers.

Mr. Roden is recognized as one of the top appellate attorneys in the state and has also taken a lead role in complex personal injury and business litigation cases. In addition to his Lawdragon Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers honor, he has been recognized in Lawdragon’s list of 500 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers. Mr. Roden has also been honored by The Best Lawyers in America and Texas Super Lawyers.
