Woman casts doubt on verdict for doctor in “poison trial”

An imprisoned former M.D. Anderson cancer doctor may have a better chance on appeal because of new evidence brought forth by a woman in Alaska. She called the defense after the verdict saying she had sexual contact with the cancer doctor allegedly injured, even though his testimony claimed otherwise. A Fox 26 legal analyst the defense team has some good ammunition in making a case on appeal since the judge did not allow the defense to introduce other women who were going to testify to affairs with the victim.
