Rusty Hardin & Associates is pleased to announce that senior associates Aisha Dennis and Kendall Speer have been named to the 2024 Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation guide, a national listing of what the publication calls “the future leaders of the law.”
“This is the second year we have published the guide,” said Lawdragon publisher Katrina Dewey. “And it’s fair to say it has become Lawdragon’s own moonshot. What started as our hope to shine a light on the future of the legal profession has turned into our own inspiration.”
She added, “They represent more than 200 law firms, each stronger for the talent, the vision, the hope these lawyers bring.”
Ms. Dennis was recognized for her work in business litigation. Her expertise and experience include cases involving technologies and surveillance tools that infringe upon constitutional rights. Prior to joining RH&A, she was part of the trial team for the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Southern District of Texas. She also served as a staff attorney for the Fourth Amendment Center of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Ms. Speer was honored for her work in business litigation. Her practice focuses on complex business disputes and commercial litigation, including construction, oil and gas, real estate, employment, trade secret, and probate litigation. Her experience includes preparing cases for jury and non-jury trials, arguing motions, managing discovery, and deposing witnesses. She has also presented oral arguments before the El Paso and Fourteenth Courts of Appeals.
“Aisha and Kendall are awesome lawyers,” said RH&A partner Rusty Hardin. “They mean a great deal to our firm and to our clients, so to call them the next generation of legal leaders is the perfect description. I am so pleased and proud to see them recognized this way.”
Lawyers considered for the listing are screened by Lawdragon’s robust vetting process, which includes a review of outside nominations, thorough research by Lawdragon editors, and peer reviews.
