Rusty Hardin on NBC Nightly News & Today Show discussing controversial traffic stop of Sandra Bland

Rusty Hardin appeared on NBC Nightly News and NBC’s The Today Show in stories about the case of Sandra Bland, who died in the Waller County jail after an arrest resulting from a traffic stop. Controversy over her arrest and death quickly became a national story.

The news clips include some of the dashboard-cam video of Ms. Bland’s arrest. Mr. Hardin watched some of it with the NBC reporter and discussed the DPS trooper’s other options for calming the situation.
