Minister accused in civil suit of assaulting six girls

A Houston minister is named in a civil lawsuit that accuses him of sexually assaulting six girls at his church. The girls, then between ages 9 and 16, said Radhames Severino molested them between 2002-2012 at the church he led, Ministerios Del Instituto Biblico Elohim. “Every one of these girls has discussed a pattern of behavior that began when many of them were as young as 9,” attorney Derek Hollingsworth told the Houston Chronicle. The case was covered by several television stations as well.
