Rusty Hardin & Associates partner Megan C. Moore secured life insurance benefits for two Houston children whose mother was bludgeoned to death in 2015. Ms. Moore and attorney William Belk, a former homicide detective, successfully argued the benefits should go to the children, not the father, as they proceeded to build evidence pointing to him as the killer. He was arrested and charged with murder on April 19, 2019.
“We're happy, the kids are happy,” said Ms. Moore. “These are remarkable children.” To learn more, read the Houston Chronicle story, “Beauty school murder finally leads to an arrest – after years of troubling questions.”
